UNI EN ISO 22000:2005 and FSSC 22000:2010

SIAD’s alimentary gases are certified according to UNI EN ISO 22000:2005 regulation and to FSSC 22000:2010 standard. The ISO 22000 regulation regards alimentary safety management and enables companies to identify exactly the risks that may occur and to manage them effectively.

The FSSC 22000 standard integrates ISO 22000:2005 as regards good manufacturing rules and therefore it is specifically directed to producers, enabling them to adhere to the most advanced alimentary safety levels within their processes.
In spite of being voluntary-based, both regulations represent a reference for the application of European and international regulations about hygiene and alimentary safety matters.

Specifically FSSC 22000 was approved by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), a focus group that gathers alimentary companies from over 40 European, North-American and Australian countries. As for agri-food producers, FSSC 22000 is equivalent to BRC Food (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) technical standards, which are the most widespread operational tools used by GDO’s foreign retailers to qualify their suppliers.
