Code of Ethics
SIAD’s growth and market success have consistently been in compliance with the group’s core principles and values based on transparency and clarity, which means strict legal compliance, respect for employees, customers, vendors and shareholders, fair competition, a commitment to quality, safety and environmental protection, and operations in line with the principles of social accountability.
The Code of Ethics formalizes SIAD’s value structure: it sets down the rules to be followed to ensure that all activities carried out in the various corporate areas are conducted regularly and properly at all times so that acting strictly in compliance with the Code becomes a matter of fundamental importance to protect the group’s integrity and reputation.
The Code of Ethics is an integral part of the Organizational management and Control Model adopted with a resolution of the SIAD board of directors passed on 11 July 2008 and subsequently updated on:
- 29 March 2010
- 26 June 2014
- 12 March 2018
in order to integrate the document and extend it to include new potential offenses defined by parliament in the meantime, such as, for example, those relating to the safety and health of workers, to environmental protection or to the employment of third-country nationals without work permits.
