In-transit refrigeration

In refrigerated transport systems it is possible to use carbon dioxide in its liquid or solid (dry ice) form instead of the gases normally used in mechanical cooling systems.
The use of solid carbon dioxide provides a valid alternative to mechanical refrigerating systems.
SIAD supplies dry ice in pellets and snow making appliances which produce and emit carbon dioxide in the form of snow on products which require refrigeration. This solution is capable of maintaining the correct temperature and of guaranteeing that the cold chain remains in tact.
Furthermore, in order to meet the diverse cooling requirements of its customers, SIAD has developed the ICEandGO® service which provides direct delivery of dry ice, even in small quantities.
