SIAD's Osio Sopra plant obtained Kosher Parve Passover certification for the production of the following food additives: Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide.
Kosher is the set of religious rules that govern the nutrition of the observant Jews; the Hebrew word "kosher" means in fact "in accordance with the law, allowed".
For a product to be certified Kosher, it is necessary that it meets strict quality standards and that all production and packaging procedures as well as every single ingredient used in its preparation comply with the rigorous laws of Kasheruth.
Compliance with these severe rules is periodically verified by special Rabbinical associations, which also avail themselves of the collaboration of experts, at the place of production.
The Kosher certification is now considered a quality mark recognized throughout the world.
