The SIAD Research Laboratory is LAT Center No. 00223 according to ISO/IEC 17025 and RMP Producer No. 00223 according to ISO 17034, for the calibration of mixtures, analytical instruments and the production of Certified Reference Materials.

Research and guaranteed stability
The SIAD Research Laboratory conducts systematic stability studies on its mixtures and ongoing research into the development of new gas mixtures, participating in national and international working groups on gas-phase analytical techniques. This know-how makes it possible to guarantee and declare the stability of certified values and to constantly expand the range of available components.
The SIAD range for analytical calibration
SIAD supports laboratories with a complete range of calibration mixtures, high-purity pure gases and specialized services. The mixtures are produced by the Special Gases Laboratory in Osio Sopra, the first in the sector in Italy to obtain ISO 9001 certification, in 1994.
Accredited metrological mixtures for binding measurements
The Perfecta range covers environmental monitoring and air quality analysis, oil & gas and natural gas analysis, sulfur compound analysis and exhaust emissions analysis for the automotive sector. Traceable to the International System, these mixtures are recommended when binding measurement performance is required by specification or by law.
High-purity pure gases for every analytical technique
SIAD prepares and analyzes pure and ultra-pure gases for the full range of analytical techniques, from a continuously expanding library of over 400 components, on which the Laboratory also conducts stability studies for new compounds. Suitable for mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, microanalysis, atomic absorption, ICP plasma and reference gases.
Specialist analytical assistance on-site and in the laboratory
The Analytical Assistance Service (SAA) supports customers in gas analysis, process qualification, analyzer calibration and instrumentation consulting, with specialized technicians operating on-site or at the SIAD Special Gases Laboratory.
