Why choose MIXFLO® for gas dissolution in wastewater
For over 40 years, MIXFLO® has been SIAD’s proprietary technology for transferring pure oxygen into biological treatment tanks. The system, consisting of a centrifugal pump, tubular dissolver and liquid-liquid ejectors, ensures high transfer yields, minimizes atmospheric emissions and can be applied to open or closed tanks of any shape.

Over 40 years
SIAD offers an integrated solution for gas dosing in treatment tanks, from the standard configuration to the skid-mounted submersible version, up to the MIXFLO3 variant dedicated to ozonation. All solutions are designed to ensure high transfer yields and automated dosing management.
MIXFLO® is SIAD’s patented system for transferring pure oxygen into biological treatment tanks. Composed of a centrifugal pump, tubular dissolver and liquid-liquid ejectors, it ensures efficiencies above 90% in the 3-4.5 kgO₂/kWh range, in open or closed tanks of any shape.
The submersible version arrives at the plant already pre-assembled on a skid, ready to be lowered directly into the tank. This solution reduces field intervention times and enables rapid start-up of oxygen delivery.
MIXFLO3 is the variant dedicated to ozone dosing in water and sludge lines. The system can be easily integrated into closed contact tanks, including pressurized ones, ensuring high plant flexibility. It also enables complete recovery of unreacted oxygen within oxidation and aerobic digestion compartments, resulting in energy savings and a drastic reduction of atmospheric emissions, down to complete elimination.
With MIXFLO®, dosing is automatically controlled by signals from dissolved oxygen and redox potential analyzers installed in the tank. O₂, even when self-produced on site with VPSA technology, is continuously modulated according to the actual demand of the oxidative process.
