Why MIG-MAG welding
In the MIG-MAG process, the shielding gas plays a decisive role: bead shape, penetration and productivity. SIAD supports customers with certified solutions, technical consulting and reliable supplies to identify the right blend according to material and thickness, ensuring consistent results and controlled costs.
1
Certified blends for every material and thickness
2
Reduced spatter, fumes and processing waste
3
Technical support and dedicated consulting

SIAD offers a complete range of gases and blends for MIG-MAG welding, from standard to high-performance options with helium and hydrogen. The blend varies according to the material: carbon steels, austenitic stainless steels, martensitic stainless steels, aluminum alloys, Duplex steels and galvanized steels. All supported by technical consulting and guaranteed supplies.
ARGOPRO is the SIAD gas blend line for MIG-MAG welding, the most widely used among customers. Based on argon/CO₂ and argon/oxygen, it covers the main materials: carbon steels of any thickness, austenitic and martensitic stainless steels. Certified to EN ISO 14175, it is available in cylinders, cylinder packs or cryogenic containers.
For those requiring superior quality, SIAD offers blends with helium and hydrogen. HELIPRO HP1 is suitable for stainless steels and medium-to-high thickness carbon steels: better bead penetration, reduced spatter and fumes, increased productivity. HYDRAPRO PB.SS. is the high-performance blend for thin austenitic stainless steels, with complete deoxidation of the bead. Both are ideal for robotic applications.
Flexigas is the service that guarantees the right amount of gas, calibrated to the consumption of the production process. Mobile cryogenic containers deliver a greater quantity of gas in the same footprint as a cylinder pack, with maintenance included and automatic reordering.
