SIAD gases and technologies for water treatment
SIAD provides a complete range for every stage of the water cycle: proprietary technologies with high dissolution efficiency, dedicated technical gases and on-site self-production systems, integrated with the services of the Environmental Biology and Chemistry Laboratory.
The MIXFLO® system
MIXFLO® is SIAD’s proprietary technology for gas-to-liquid transfer, especially oxygen in activated sludge plants, with oxygen dissolution efficiency above 90% and yields between 3 and 4.5 kgO₂/kWh. The submersible version, preassembled on a skid, reduces field intervention times and enables rapid start-up of supply in treatment tanks.
Ozone from O₂
Green Deal patent: ozone from O₂ and recovery of gas flow
SIAD has filed a patent involving the use of ozone generated from oxygen, potentially self-produced through VPSA, in various plant sections. The O₂ leaving the ozonation reactors is recovered and reused in biological tanks as a replacement for traditional microbubble aeration. This approach enables a significant reduction in energy consumption and a reduction, to near-zero levels, of aerosol, VOC, particulate, odour and greenhouse gas emissions.

SIAD MIXFLO3 reactors
SIAD designs and builds ozonation plants for wastewater treatment, characterized by high efficiency and compact design. These solutions significantly reduce both installation costs and required space. The SIAD MIXFLO3 reactor is designed to optimize ozone transfer into the wastewater to be treated, ensuring high operational performance and uniform oxidation. It can be easily integrated with closed contact tanks, including pressurized systems, offering strong design and operational flexibility.
